Upcoming Changes & Development Focus
The devs have been working behind the scenes to make NEW STATE Mobile a better battle royale experience. Recently, the team went through an internal restructuring to improve efficiency and upgrade core game systems. While these changes may not be instantly visible, they ensure a smoother and more stable gaming experience in the long run.
Key Areas of Focus:
- Improved Matching System – Enhancing matchmaking for a more balanced experience.
- AI Bot System Upgrade – Making bot behavior more natural and reducing the skill gap between bots and real players.
- Stronger Anti-Cheat Measures – Implementing stricter actions against cheaters with regular updates.
- Content Improvements – Enhancing the Survival Pass and BP Store to make them more rewarding.
Map Rotation & Matching Adjustments
The devs acknowledged the matching issues caused by adding new maps. Instead of introducing a new map now, they are improving existing content to ensure better matchmaking.
- In January 2025, the default map was changed from NewEra to Erangel.
- This change resulted in better matchmaking and an increase in new player connections.
- Lower-tier players still prefer NewEra, but higher-tier players are moving towards Erangel for better match quality.
AI Bot System Overhaul
A major AI bot rework is in progress to make bots feel more natural. Players advancing to higher tiers will no longer experience a sudden skill gap when transitioning from bot-heavy matches to real-player battles.
Anti-Cheat System Gets Stronger
The developers are stepping up their fight against cheaters by enforcing strict bans and updates to the anti-cheat system. This is a much-needed move to maintain fair gameplay.
Survival Pass & BP Store Revamp
The Survival Pass is being improved because the purchase rate is low compared to the total player base.
- The Legacy Pass lacks value, so the devs are planning changes to make it more appealing.
- The BP Store will be adjusted so that BP is used more effectively, as many players have excess BP with no real use for it.
Bug Fixes & User Feedback
The dev team promises to listen to community feedback and actively fix reported issues. However, some problems may take longer to resolve, so they ask for patience and understanding.
